Stamford Bridge is set to host a high-stakes Premier League clash between Chelsea and a Manchester United side whose manager, Michael Carrick, faces an uncertain future depending on the outcome.

For Carrick, a positive result against Chelsea would offer more than just three points. A win could ease the pressure on his position, reinject confidence into the dressing room, and present United's hierarchy with evidence that the squad can respond under his guidance.

However, another loss would place his tenure at serious risk. United have been struggling for form, and a defeat at Stamford Bridge could prove decisive in determining whether Carrick remains in the dugout at Old Trafford.

The match represents a defining moment for Manchester United — not only on the pitch, but in the corridors of power at the club. All eyes will be on how the team performs when the pressure is at its highest.
