Coventry City Sign Toulouse Winger Yann Gboho, Cousin of PSG Star Desire Doue

Coventry City have completed the signing of Ivory Coast-born winger Yann Gboho from Toulouse, with the 25-year-old becoming the club's 12th addition of the summer transfer window.
Gboho is a cousin of Paris St-Germain and France forward Desire Doue. A deal was agreed and submitted to the Premier League before Tuesday's transfer deadline, though the move required ratification from Fifa — clearance that has since been granted. The transfer remains subject to UK visa approval.
A well-travelled career
Despite being born in the Ivory Coast, Gboho represented France at youth level. He launched his senior career at Rennes before a loan stint at Vitesse Arnhem, and subsequently joined Cercle Brugge ahead of his move to Toulouse.
At Toulouse, Gboho made 83 appearances across all competitions, contributing 19 goals before his departure for Coventry.
Big summer spending at Coventry
Newly promoted Coventry have invested more than £100 million in their squad this summer, signalling serious intent as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
Manager Frank Lampard's side have endured a difficult start, losing their opening two fixtures of the season. Their next challenge comes on Saturday when they travel to Manchester City — a stern test for a team still finding its footing at the top flight.
