Enugu Rangers have firmly rejected allegations made by Super Eagles winger Moses Simon, who claimed the NPFL champions refused to offer him a professional contract following a three-month trial because he was not Igbo.
Simon, currently on the books of French Ligue 1 side Paris FC, made the claim in a recent interview with UrbanDwellSport. The 30-year-old said he spent three months training with Rangers and even served as captain of the screening team, believing his performances had been strong enough to earn a deal.
