Nigeria international Femi Azeez has called his transfer to Brighton & Hove Albion the fulfilment of a dream he has carried since childhood, speaking to the club's official website after completing the move on transfer deadline day.
Azeez joined the Seagulls from Championship side Millwall on a four-year contract, capping an outstanding spell at The Den that saw him score 11 goals and register eight assists last season.
His performances earned him a place in the PFA Championship Team of the Season — a fitting recognition before his step up to the top flight.
A lifelong ambition realised
The 25-year-old winger did not hide his excitement at finally reaching the Premier League.
