Nigeria's Golden Eaglets will face Côte d'Ivoire and Niger in Group B of the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship, following the completion of the group-stage draw.

The top two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, meaning the Golden Eaglets must finish in the top two to progress.

Hosts Burkina Faso have been placed in Group A alongside Ghana, Benin Republic, and Togo.

The competition doubles as the WAFU Zone B qualifying tournament for the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, with the top finishers earning berths to represent the zone at the continental finals.

Nigeria's under-17 side are currently stepping up their preparations in Abuja ahead of the tournament, which Burkina Faso will host from October 10 to 23, 2026.
