Nigerian centre-back Ibrahim Buhari has completed a move to Austrian Bundesliga side FK Austria Wien, signing a contract that runs until summer 2029.

Buhari arrives at the Violets from Swedish club IF Elfsborg, where he made 77 appearances. He will wear the number 3 jersey in Vienna.

The 24-year-old began his European journey after leaving Nigeria Premier Football League club Plateau United in 2022, when IF Elfsborg brought him to Sweden.
