Kelechi Iheanacho has opened up on why he chose to join Turkish second-tier club Bursaspor, pointing to the club's long-term ambition as the decisive factor in his move.
The Nigeria forward completed a free transfer to the Green Crocodiles last week, penning a three-year contract — a decision that raised eyebrows given that Scottish Premiership champions Celtic had also been pursuing his signature.
A project worth believing in
Speaking to the club's official website, Iheanacho described Bursaspor as a historically significant club in Turkey and said their vision for the future won him over entirely.
