FIFA President Gianni Infantino has described his meeting with a Nigerian delegation in Zurich as a productive and forward-looking encounter, signalling a shared commitment to rebuilding the foundations of Nigerian football.
The delegation, led by National Sports Commission (NSC) Chairman Shehu Dikko, travelled to Zurich, Switzerland, on Tuesday to hold talks at the Home of FIFA. The engagement covered institutional, governance, and developmental challenges facing Nigerian football, alongside opportunities to strengthen the existing partnership between Nigeria and FIFA.
In a statement released by NSC Director of Information and Public Relations Dr. Keninde Amati, Infantino expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the discussions.
