ITV's Broadcast Team Confirmed for Portugal vs Uzbekistan at World Cup

ITV has confirmed its on-air team for Portugal's second Group K fixture against Uzbekistan at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the match set to kick off at 6pm on Tuesday, and coverage beginning at 5pm from the broadcaster's New York studio.
The game itself takes place in Houston, Texas, but UK viewers will follow all the action through ITV1, where presenter Mark Pougatch leads the desk as he has throughout the tournament.
A punditry panel full of star power
Pougatch will be flanked by a trio of former Premier League figures, two of whom shared a dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo during their playing careers.
Gary Neville returns to the terrace to deliver his assessment of Portugal's display. The former Manchester United and England right-back has been a familiar presence in ITV's coverage throughout the competition.
Joining Neville is Roy Keane, his ex-Manchester United captain and current colleague at Overlap and Sky Sports. Keane has never been known to hold back his opinions, and if Portugal again fail to impress — as they did in a frustrating 1-1 draw with DR Congo in their Group K opener — expect the Irishman to say so plainly.
Completing the panel is Duncan Ferguson, the former Everton striker who missed Scotland's participation at the 1998 World Cup but brings considerable attacking insight to the studio.
All eyes on Ronaldo
Portugal enter Tuesday's fixture under pressure after being held by DR Congo in their opening game, a result that visibly frustrated both Ronaldo and head coach Roberto Martinez. A win against Uzbekistan is considered essential to keep their World Cup ambitions on track.
With Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Erling Haaland all commanding attention at this tournament, Ronaldo will be eager to make his own mark and remind the world exactly why he remains one of the game's most captivating figures.
