ITV has confirmed the on-screen talent for its coverage of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Group B decider between Switzerland and Canada at BC Place in Vancouver.

Canada arrived at this fixture in the driving seat, having dismantled Qatar 6-0 in their previous match. Switzerland, meanwhile, kept pace with a commanding 4-1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina to remain firmly in contention for a place in the last 32.

The stakes are clear: Canada will top Group B and secure home-soil knockout fixtures if they avoid defeat. A loss, however, would hand Switzerland the advantage — the two sides are currently separated only by goal difference.

Coverage begins at 8pm BST, with Mark Pougatch presenting from ITV's studio set against the backdrop of the New York skyline.

Ian Wright, the former Arsenal and England striker who has become a prominent figure in ITV's major-tournament coverage, is among the pundits. Alongside him is Patrick Vieira, Wright's former Arsenal team-mate and a two-time international champion with France — having won the 1998 FIFA World Cup on home soil and Euro 2000 shortly after.
