Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle says he has drawn confidence from signals within the club that he retains their full backing, even as his side endures a difficult stretch of results.

The Magpies slumped to a 1-0 home defeat against Everton on Monday, a result that drew boos from supporters inside St. James' Park and left Newcastle 13th in the Premier League with 11 points from nine matches.
