Liverpool defender Milos Kerkez has given a glowing endorsement of new head coach Andoni Iraola, describing him as the ideal appointment for the club — and crediting their previous spell together at Bournemouth as a turning point in his career.
Kerkez, 22, spent two seasons working under Iraola at Bournemouth, during which the Basque coach transformed him into a reliable Premier League full-back. When asked about his reaction to learning Iraola had been appointed Liverpool manager, Kerkez did not hesitate.
