Nigerian striker Kingsley Eduwo has completed a permanent move to Tunisian club Etoile Sportive du Sahel, reuniting him with Tunisian football after earlier stints in the country.

Eduwo previously represented Espérance and Club Africain in Tunisia, accumulating 16 goals and four assists across 71 appearances — a record that underlines his familiarity with the local game.

A timely arrival for Etoile du Sahel

The 30-year-old joins Etoile Sportive du Sahel at a critical moment. The club have managed just one win from their opening three matches of the current season, and Eduwo's experience is expected to bolster their attacking options.

His career began in Nigeria with stints at Gateway United, Sunshine Stars, and Lobi Stars before he made his first move abroad, joining CS Sfaxien in 2017. Since then, he has built an extensive international portfolio, featuring in leagues across Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Algeria, and Egypt.

International recognition

At international level, Eduwo has earned two caps for Nigeria and has found the net once for the Super Eagles — a modest but meaningful footprint on the continental stage.
