Ademola Lookman has declared that Nigeria's Super Eagles are primed and eager to begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign on a high note, with two demanding fixtures on the horizon.
Eric Chelle's side open their Group Stage campaign at home against Madagascar's Barea at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo next Thursday. They then travel to Bissau for a Matchday Two encounter against Guinea-Bissau's Djurtus on Tuesday, September 29.
Lookman's rallying call
The Super Eagles forward acknowledged the challenge posed by both opponents but was clear that Nigeria are targeting six points from these two matches.
