Manuel Neuer has confirmed his second retirement from international football after Germany's painful exit at the FIFA World Cup 2026, saying he has no regrets about returning to represent his country one final time.

The Bayern Munich goalkeeper, who came out of retirement to feature for Germany, brought the curtain down on his international career after the side fell 4-3 in a penalty shootout defeat to Paraguay in the round of 32.
