Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to bring Chelsea forward Liam Delap to the City Ground, according to sources who spoke to ESPN. The transfer is understood to be worth around £50 million.

Delap, who spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town, had been on Forest's radar as manager Nuno Espírito Santo looked to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

The move marks a significant outlay for Forest, who have been among the more active clubs in the summer transfer window as they look to build on their solid Premier League finish last term.
