Victor Osimhen delivered a man-of-the-match performance on Friday night, scoring twice and setting up another goal as Galatasaray swept aside Erzurum FK 4-0 in a Turkish Super Lig fixture.

Roland Sallai broke the deadlock in the 12th minute, giving the defending champions the ideal platform to build on. Galatasaray pressed forward relentlessly, and Osimhen soon made his mark — threading a precise pass to Yunus Akgün, who doubled the advantage in the 20th minute.

The Nigeria international then turned goalscorer himself, finding the net just before the half-time whistle to put Okan Buruk's side in commanding control at 3-0.

Osimhen completed his brace with 10 minutes remaining, converting an assist from Gabriel Sara to seal an emphatic victory. He played the full 90 minutes throughout.

The 27-year-old has been in inspired form since the season began, amassing four goals and one assist across just two league outings for the Yellow and Reds.
