Tottenham Hotspur have excluded Richarlison from their Premier League squad for the 2026-27 season, confirming the Brazilian forward has no place in head coach Roberto De Zerbi's plans.

The club informed the 29-year-old of the decision ahead of the transfer deadline, giving him time to secure a move elsewhere. Despite the Premier League window closing on Tuesday with Richarlison still at the club, a transfer remains possible to a league where the window is still open.

Türkiye has emerged as the most likely destination, with the Turkish transfer window remaining open until September 4, according to ESPN. However, Tottenham confirmed on Thursday that no offer for the player has been received.

De Zerbi addressed Richarlison's situation publicly last weekend, speaking after Tottenham's 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United — a match from which the forward was omitted entirely.
