Three minutes later, his shot deflected off veteran defender Ben Davies and crept into the net for a fifth, wrapping up a commanding win.

Charlton Athletic grabbed a late consolation through a Lloyd Jones header in the 87th minute, but the result was already beyond doubt. Spurs advance into the Carabao Cup third-round draw in commanding style.
