Venezia head coach Giovanni Stroppa has praised Super Eagles striker Akor Adams as a quality player, while pointing to tactical improvement as the key to unlocking his full potential in Serie A.

Adams joined Venezia from Sevilla in a €17 million deal and made an immediate impression, netting a brace on debut against Modena in the Coppa Italia. Despite that promising start, the Nigerian international is still awaiting his first Serie A goal after two league appearances for his new club.
