Sunderland are weighing up a late transfer window move for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish, with the Championship club considering both loan and permanent options for the 30-year-old.

Grealish is entering the final year of his contract at Manchester City, and Sunderland — known as the Black Cats — are eager to bolster their wide options before the window closes.

The move would not be straightforward, however, as Everton also retain a strong interest in re-signing Grealish. The former Aston Villa captain spent the entirety of last season on loan at Goodison Park and the Merseyside club are keen to bring him back.
