Swansea City have completed the signing of Scotland international Ross Stewart, bringing the striker in on a three-year contract after his departure from Southampton at the end of his deal in June.

Stewart, 30, will play his home games at the Swansea.com Stadium following a productive spell at St Mary's Stadium, where he scored 11 goals in 33 appearances last season — his most prolific campaign with Southampton after injuries had limited him to just 17 outings across the two preceding seasons.

A proven Championship operator

The Irvine-born forward brings a strong record at Championship level, having also scored prolifically for Sunderland, where he netted 40 goals in 81 appearances and helped the club claim the EFL Trophy in 2021 before earning promotion to the Championship a year later.
