Tottenham Sign Chelsea Winger Mudryk on Loan Until Season's End

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the loan signing of Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, keeping him at the club until the end of the current season. The deal includes an option to make the move permanent for £75 million.

The 25-year-old Ukraine international had been out of competitive action since November 2024, following a doping case that was resolved with the Football Association last month.

Spurs entered the chase for Mudryk at a late stage, having previously missed out on Iliman Ndiaye — who has since moved to Manchester City from Everton — and Liverpool attacker Cody Gakpo. Chelsea had held talks with Leeds United and turned down at least one offer before Tottenham stepped in.

Return to match fitness

Mudryk rejoined Chelsea's preparations during their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia, making his comeback in a friendly against Juventus in Hong Kong. However, he was left out of manager Xabi Alonso's squad for Premier League wins against Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as the Carabao Cup victory over Luton.

In his time at Chelsea, Mudryk scored 10 goals and registered 11 assists across 73 appearances in all competitions.
