Former Super Eagles defender Ifeanyi Udeze has expressed his displeasure at Akor Adams' decision to leave Sevilla for Serie A newcomers Venezia, even as the striker himself insists the move is part of an exciting new project.
Adams sealed a permanent switch from Sevilla to Venezia in a deal reported to be worth around €17 million, with performance-related bonuses potentially lifting the total fee to €23.5 million.
Udeze's concern for Adams
Speaking on Brila FM, Udeze made no effort to hide his reservations about the transfer, though he was careful to respect Adams' autonomy as a professional.
