Arsenal Fans Flood North London Streets in Premier League Title Parade

5 days ago·1 min

Hundreds of thousands of Arsenal supporters took to the streets of north London on Sunday to celebrate the club's first Premier League title in 22 years, with players waving to delirious crowds from open-top buses along a five-mile route through Islington and around the Emirates stadium.

The men's squad were joined on the buses by Arsenal's women's team, who claimed the inaugural Fifa Women's Champions Cup earlier this season — giving the day a double sense of historic triumph.

Joy tempered by European heartbreak

The parade came just one day after a painful Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in Budapest, yet the mood in the streets was overwhelmingly euphoric. Flags flew, vuvuzelas roared, and players threw Arsenal scarves into the sea of red stretching along the route.

Fans pressed forward along the barriers, arms outstretched toward the buses, as fireworks crackled overhead.
