Barcelona have confirmed the arrival of midfielder Rodri from Manchester City, with the Spanish giants paying in the region of £65m to secure the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner's signature.

The 30-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal at the Nou Camp, ending a seven-season stay at Manchester City and marking his return to Spanish football for the first time since his spell at Atletico Madrid in 2019.

During his time at City, Rodri made 298 appearances and collected 12 major trophies — among them four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, three EFL Cups, and the UEFA Champions League in 2023.

His final two seasons in Manchester were hampered by injury, yet he recovered to produce his best football at this summer's World Cup, where he was named player of the tournament as Spain claimed the trophy for the second time in their history.
