Ben Gannon-Doak has had two years to reflect on the pain of missing Euro 2024 — and the Bournemouth winger believes that difficult experience has made him a better and more complete player heading into the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The 20-year-old was a surprise inclusion in Steve Clarke's initial squad for the European Championship in Germany, only to be cut after failing to recover in time from injury. Now, having made the final 26-man squad for Scotland's first World Cup since 1998, Gannon-Doak insists the timing feels right.
