Benjamin Tanimu Returns to Singida Black Stars on Two-Year Deal

Super Eagles centre-back Benjamin Tanimu has completed a return to Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars, signing a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old is no stranger to the club, having first represented Singida Black Stars after arriving from Nigerian Premier Football League outfit Bendel Insurance in February 2024.
His career then took him to England, where he joined League One club Crawley Town on a two-year deal in September 2024. He subsequently moved to Moroccan side Maghreb Fès for an undisclosed fee in July 2025, before now completing this return to Tanzania.
Tanimu is expected to link up with his new teammates at a pre-season training camp in Rwanda as Singida Black Stars step up their preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.
At international level, the defender has earned three caps for the Super Eagles since making his debut for Nigeria.
