Chukwueze Plays Full Game as AC Milan Draw 2-2 with Lazio

1 hour ago·1 min

Samuel Chukwueze completed the full 90 minutes as AC Milan and Lazio shared the spoils in a 2-2 Serie A stalemate on Saturday, with the Super Eagles winger now registering two assists this season.

The Nigerian international was appearing for the fourth time this campaign and has been one of AC Milan's brighter performers since Ruben Amorim took charge of the club during the summer.

How the goals fell

Lazio drew first blood when Cancellieri met Mattia Zaccagni's cross at the back post, steering the ball home after Christos Mandas had already denied Chukwueze from close range with a fine save in the corner.

The visitors doubled their advantage shortly after. Nuno Tavares delivered a cross that deflected off Pervis Estupinan and struck the bar, and Noslin was the quickest to react, nodding in the rebound before Koni De Winter could intervene.

AC Milan's comeback

The Rossoneri halved the deficit when Moreira produced a remarkable finish — volleying in a deep, looping cross from Christian Pulisic from an incredibly tight angle.

Within two minutes, Moreira struck again, this time curling a composed effort into the bottom-right corner from the edge of the box to level things up and earn AC Milan a hard-fought point.
