Everton and Crystal Palace have reached an agreement on a straight swap deal that will see Dwight McNeil move to south London while Brennan Johnson heads to Merseyside, a source has told ESPN.

The deal involves no transfer fee exchanged between the two Premier League clubs — the players simply trade places in what would be one of the more unusual pieces of transfer business of the window.
