Everton produced a commanding display at Goodison Park on Thursday, sweeping aside Newcastle United 3-0 to advance in the Carabao Cup.

The Toffees were dominant throughout the contest, leaving the Magpies with no answers as they secured a comfortable and convincing victory in the last-16 stage of the competition.

The result marks a strong statement of intent from Everton, who controlled the game from start to finish and gave their supporters a night to celebrate at home.

Newcastle United, meanwhile, must regroup quickly as they shift their focus back to Premier League duties following this heavy cup defeat.
