FIFA have suspended the red card shown to United States striker Folarin Balogun during the group-stage match against Bosnia-Herzegovina, clearing him to feature in the round-of-16 clash against Belgium.

Balogun had been facing an automatic one-match ban following the dismissal, which threatened to rule him out of one of the USMNT's most significant knockout-stage ties. The governing body's decision now means the striker is fully available for selection when the United States meet Belgium.
