Fulham Beat West Ham in Five-Goal Carabao Cup Thriller

Fulham secured their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 3-2 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium on Tuesday, a result that gave manager Alvaro Arbeloa his second win since taking charge of the Cottagers.
The night began on a sombre note before kick-off, as the Hammers paid tribute to former goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
Bobb seals dramatic win
Rodrigo Muniz gave Fulham the lead in the 13th minute with a header, only for Morato to level almost immediately with an equally straightforward finish from a set-piece — a lead that had lasted less than three minutes.
Fulham restored their advantage in the 37th minute when Cesar Palacios, who had squandered two earlier opportunities, produced a composed poke past goalkeeper Finlay Herrick. Yet West Ham refused to fold — Pablo smashed home a rebound in first-half stoppage time to claim his first goal for the club and draw the hosts level heading into the break.
The second half saw both sides introduce attacking reinforcements. Jarrod Bowen and Taty Castellanos came on for West Ham, but it was Fulham's substitutes who proved decisive. Josh King won the ball on the edge of the West Ham penalty area, and Oscar Bobb — on as a substitute — drove into the box and slotted home in the 78th minute for his first goal in a Fulham shirt.
West Ham came agonisingly close to forcing a replay. Bowen cut the ball across to Castellanos for what appeared a certain equaliser, but the striker's casual effort allowed Timothy Castagne to clear off the line and preserve Fulham's slender advantage. Cesar Palacios then missed an open goal in the 90th minute that would have ended any doubt.
Fulham held on for a memorable derby victory and progress to the next round.
