Kelechi Iheanacho returned to the scoresheet as Bursaspor shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Antalyaspor in the TFF 1. Lig on Friday night.

The Nigeria international struck in the 26th minute to open the scoring, putting Bursaspor in front with his first goal since an end to his extraordinary run of 12 consecutive league matches with a goal — a streak that was finally broken against Bandırmaspor last weekend.

Bursaspor's lead did not last, however. An own goal from Tural Bayramov levelled matters for the hosts before the break, ensuring the points were shared at the interval.

Iheanacho's remarkable season

The Nigerian striker continues to put together one of the most impressive individual campaigns in the TFF 1. Lig this season. His tally now stands at 17 goals and four assists from just 14 league appearances — a record that underlines his importance to Bursaspor's promotion push.

Despite dropping two points on the road, Bursaspor remain at the summit of the league table with 37 points, keeping their grip on top spot heading into the next round of fixtures.
