Leeds United Seal Free Transfer Agreement for Harry Wilson

1 hour ago·1 min

Leeds United have reached an agreement to bring Harry Wilson to the club on a free transfer, with the Welsh midfielder set to join once his Fulham contract expires at the end of June.

Wilson, 29, contributed 11 goals and eight assists for Fulham during the 2025/26 season, attracting interest from several top-flight clubs before Leeds secured his signature. Aston Villa and Everton had both been monitoring the Wales international, but it is Elland Road that will be his next destination.

This deal marks a second attempt by Leeds to land Wilson. The club had tried to sign him on Deadline Day last summer, only for that move to fall apart at the final hour.

More midfield business in the pipeline

Wilson is not the only player on Leeds United's radar this summer. The club are also exploring a move for Julian Brandt, who is set to depart Borussia Dortmund as a free agent when his contract concludes at the end of June.

Further to that, Leeds are in discussions with Southampton over midfielder Shea Charles. The club's opening bid of £20 million was rejected by the Championship side, and negotiations between the two clubs are continuing.
