Paris St-Germain have confirmed that manager Luis Enrique has signed a new three-year contract extension, tying him to the club until 2030. The announcement came ahead of Friday evening's Ligue 1 home match against Monaco.

The 56-year-old Spaniard took charge at Paris St-Germain in July 2023 and has since delivered back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles alongside three Ligue 1 championships — a remarkable run of success that the club were clearly determined to reward.

His previous contract had been set to run out at the end of the current season, making the renewal both timely and significant for the French champions.

Five players also extend their stays

The club also revealed that five first-team players had committed their futures to Paris St-Germain. Joao Neves, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, and Senny Mayulu have all agreed new deals running until 2031, while Fabian Ruiz has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the club through 2028.

The wave of renewals signals Paris St-Germain's ambition to maintain the core of a squad that has dominated both domestic and European football in recent seasons.
