Fulham head coach Marco Silva is on the verge of agreeing a move to Benfica, with talks between the 48-year-old Portuguese manager and the Lisbon club having advanced considerably in recent days.

Silva's contract at Craven Cottage is due to expire this month, and he has yet to accept a renewal offer put forward by the club. No official announcement regarding his departure has been made.
