Oliver Glasner Appointed as Nottingham Forest's Fifth Head Coach in Under a Year

Nottingham Forest have named Oliver Glasner as their new head coach, making the Austrian the fifth person to hold the role at the City Ground in fewer than 12 months.

Glasner arrives as a direct replacement for Vitor Pereira, who was dismissed on Tuesday after Forest activated a clause in his contract. The club informed Pereira of the decision just two minutes before that clause was set to expire in June.

The former Crystal Palace manager had been out of work since departing Selhurst Park at the end of last season. Forest made contact with Glasner earlier this summer, setting in motion a move that has now been confirmed.
