Pogba Bids Farewell to Monaco After Injury-Hit Stint
Paul Pogba has bid farewell to Monaco, expressing gratitude to the club after a short and injury-disrupted spell that ended with the mutual termination of his contract on August 19, 2026.
The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder joined Monaco on a free transfer last summer, arriving after the expiration of a doping ban imposed on him in 2024. He was not fully fit upon arrival, and his playing time reflected that — he made just six appearances across all competitions, with only one start, totalling a mere 115 minutes on the pitch.
Monaco and Pogba agreed to part ways a year ahead of schedule, ending what had been a difficult chapter for the 33-year-old.
Pogba's farewell message
In a message directed at the club and its supporters following the split, Pogba offered warm words despite the frustration of limited game time.
