Poland Coach Urban Satisfied With Super Eagles Stalemate in Warsaw

Poland head coach Jan Urban declared himself pleased with his side's display after they were held to a draw by Nigeria in a friendly at the Stadion PGE Narodowy in Warsaw on Wednesday.
A match full of twists
Poland started brightly, with Jakub Kaminski heading narrowly wide in the 4th minute. Nigeria took the lead when Terem Moffi tapped in from close range in the 23rd minute, assisted by Moses Simon after captain Wilfred Ndidi had released him with a precise pass. The goal was initially disallowed before VAR intervened and awarded it.
Poland levelled before the interval through Kacper Potuski, who slid the ball past goalkeeper Okoye from a first-half stoppage-time corner and a scramble in the box. Nigeria restored their advantage in the 73rd minute via a VAR-awarded penalty, which Paul Onuachu converted without hesitation.
With the Super Eagles seemingly on course for a second straight victory over the White-Reds, Przemyslaw Wiśniewski unleashed a 25-yard strike past Okoye to earn Poland a share of the spoils.
Urban's assessment
Despite the late equaliser denying Nigeria all three points, Urban focused on the positives from his squad's display.
