Nigeria head coach Éric Chelle has confirmed the Super Eagles starting line-up for their international friendly against Poland, with several key selections drawing immediate attention.
Udinese stopper Maduka Okoye earns the goalkeeper's shirt, preferred over Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho. In front of him, debutant Abdullahi Bewene slots in at right-back, while Bruno Onyemaechi takes the left-back berth.
The central defensive partnership sees Igho Ogbu line up alongside Emmanuel Fernandez, the Rangers of Scotland centre-back, to form Nigeria's backline.
Ndidi leads a balanced midfield
Captain Wilfred Ndidi anchors the middle of the park, joined by Tochukwu Nnadi and Frank Onyeka in what shapes up as a disciplined three-man engine room.
In attack, Terem Moffi leads the line, supported by Moses Simon and Akor Adams operating either side of him.
