Three devoted Argentina supporters have completed an extraordinary cycling expedition from their hometown of Gualeguaychu all the way to Kansas, Missouri — covering 10,500 miles to witness their country's opening World Cup fixture in person.

The trio set off from Argentina and pedalled across continents, enduring thousands of miles of road to reach the venue where Argentina are scheduled to play their first match of the tournament.

Their arrival in Kansas marks the end of a gruelling journey that few football fans would dare attempt, driven entirely by passion for the national team and the once-in-a-generation spectacle of a World Cup on their doorstep — or rather, a long, long way from it.
