Poland defender Przemysław Wiśniewski has insisted his side earned their share of the spoils after Wednesday's 2-2 international friendly draw against Nigeria at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.
Jan Urban's team came from behind twice to level the score in front of a sell-out crowd of 58,000 — a spirited display that contrasted sharply with their 2-0 defeat to Ukraine in their previous match.
An improved defensive display
Reflecting on the result, Wiśniewski pointed to the team's improved defensive organisation as a key takeaway, noting the lessons drawn from the Ukraine setback had been applied quickly.
