Chelsea have confirmed that goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen has moved to RC Strasbourg on a season-long loan, with the French Ligue 1 club set to host the 24-year-old for the entirety of the 2025–26 campaign.
Jorgensen arrived at Stamford Bridge from Villarreal in July 2024 for a reported fee of around £20 million, signing a seven-year contract. Over two seasons with Chelsea, he made 36 appearances across multiple competitions.
The Denmark international played a prominent role in Chelsea's UEFA Conference League triumph in May 2025, starting all but one match throughout the competition. He then added a FIFA Club World Cup winner's medal to his collection later that summer.
Last season, Jorgensen featured 12 times across four competitions, contributing as Chelsea advanced to the semi-finals of both domestic cups.
In a statement confirming the move, Chelsea expressed their support for the goalkeeper during his time in France, wishing him well as he seeks regular first-team football abroad.
