Fulham have secured the signatures of Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid, with both players committing to five-year contracts at Craven Cottage.

Garcia, 22, was a prominent figure at Real Madrid last season, making 39 appearances across all competitions and contributing eight goals. The forward earned his first senior cap for Spain in June, and the move — reported to cost around £34 million — sees him reunite with new Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa, the pair having previously worked together at the Bernabeu.

Speaking after completing his move, Garcia expressed his delight at joining the club.
