Oliver Glasner has been unveiled as Nottingham Forest's new head coach, becoming the club's fourth managerial appointment since September — and he arrived with a sunburn, a sense of humour, and a clear ambition to build something lasting at the City Ground.
Glasner, 51, has signed a three-year deal, and owner Evangelos Marinakis has made no secret of his desire for both trophies and stability. It is a combination Glasner knows how to deliver: in his two seasons at Crystal Palace, he guided the club to an FA Cup and UEFA Europa Conference League triumph before stepping down in May.

The revolving door at Forest has been dizzying. Nuno Espirito Santo started the cycle last August, citing a breakdown in relations with the club's hierarchy. Ange Postecoglou lasted just 39 days before being dismissed following a heavy defeat by Chelsea. Sean Dyche endured 114 days. Vitor Pereira was informed of his dismissal a mere two minutes before a contractual clause allowing Forest to end his deal expired in June.
Glasner addressed the instability with characteristic wit, invoking marriage metaphors.
